How the CZO has Helped ARS

Science Succeeds through Successful Partnerships

The Reynolds Creek Critical Zone Observatory is a collaboration between scientists at the United States Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and Idaho State University. Scientists from Boise State University also work on many projects within Reynolds Creek. In this video, Dr. Mark Seyfried from ARS, discusses how the CZO has helped provide the people and expertise necessary to study the Reynolds Creek ecosystem in great detail. The scientists then share their findings with local ranchers and the general public to help make decisions about how best to manage sagebrush steppe ecosystems.
